Statement of Liabilities

I hereby acknowledge that during the currency of any hiring agreement made in pursuance of my arrangement with Ad-MOTO Limited of Unit 4 City Limits, Danehill, Reading, Berkshire, England, RG6 4UP, for the hiring of vehicles from time to time, and for the purposes of sections 62 to 68 of, and Schedule 4 to, the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988, I shall be liable as the owner of any vehicle hired under that agreement (the registration mark of which shall be recorded in the agreement) in respect of:

• any of the following offences which may be committed with respect to that vehicle when it is stationary and when a fixed penalty notice is issued: being on a road during the hours of darkness without the lights or reflectors required by law; waiting, or being left or parked, or being loaded or unloaded, in a road; being used or kept on a public road without the vehicle licence being exhibited on the vehicle in the prescribed manned; and the non-payment of the charge made at a street parking place; and

• any excess charge which may be incurred in pursuance of an order under sections 45 and 46 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (provision on highways of parking places where charges are made).

I further acknowledge that I shall be liable as owner of any vehicle hired under the said agreement (the registration mark of which shall be recorded in the agreement) in respect of:

• any other traffic offences with regard to restrictions on the type of vehicle used on a particular road or the ability of a vehicle to pass legally on a particular road;

• using a route restricted to certain vehicles, where the vehicle hired to me is not of the type which is permitted by the restrictions;

• proceeding in the wrong direction, or in an incorrect manner, on any roadway or other route, or performing a prohibited turn, u-turn or other manouvre; and

• any other penalty charge or fixed penalty issued for any reason in relation to any vehicle hired under the said agreement.

The statement made above applies to any penalty charge notices, fixed penalty notices, private parking fines, private penalty notices and any and all other fines, imposts, or any other sum demanded by any authority or company relating to my use of the vehicle on hire to me pursuant to the said agreement.
